Recently, I've been inspired by the nature in summer. I have spent most of July and August in the Dolomites and have often come home with bunches of beautiful wildflowers. I just love their lines, shapes and colours.
And so, this little series of flower paintings came to life.
And of course, there's lots of colour!

July has been a busy month for me. Preparations for my October are well under way- finishing touches on the artwork, arranging dates, meetings, photos, catalogues, and lots more!
But that's not all! I have also been doing some plain air art, with the group 'Sketch Südtirol', which I recently started in Brixen/Bressanone. We practice drawing together, share ideas and have a lot of fun!
I was also invited to do a morning of outdoor sketching with a group of children at Ton Röschen in Brixen. It's such a pleasure for me to share creativity with others!
My 'Cafe Art' paintings are currently at Galerie Hofburg-Kompatscher in Brixen and I have also been working on a new series of colourful and fun flower paintings, which you'll get to see very soon!:)
My painting Geranium has been presented in the international art magazine THE ARTIST as Editors choice of the month.

The past few months have been very busy with exhibition preparation.
There have been a few practical changes, including the date and place- the exhibition will now take place on the 20th of October in Brixen-Bressanone!
All the artwork is nearly finished and it's so exciting to see it all coming together! I've been painting, gluing, cutting and sewing, experimenting with new ideas and crossing boundaries.

After having spent the last few months in Asia, where I was working hard on my upcoming October exhibition, I am back in Europe to continue my creative process in a new setting!
I'm happy to be here, feeling inspired and energised by the nature, the colours and the spring weather. And I'm so excited to see my paintings come to life in the next few months!
