Sketch Südtirol: a positive initiative - "Alto Adige"

The Italian newspaper Alto Adige dedicated a large article to my Sketch Südtirol initiative. Once a month we meet and draw and have fun together. At the Sommeremotionen Festival in Brixen I set up a tent and a still life, had paper, pencils and colors ready, and everybody was invited to join and draw and enjoy themselves. It was a great success.

To spread my love of art, I came up with the idea to allow people at the five evenings of the Summeremotionen Festival in Brixen to draw together. I set up a different still life each time and had some friends posing as models. The initiative turned out to be very welcomed and people of all ages enjoyed being creative together.

A summer of art fun!

This summer I have set up my temporary art studio at Kompatscher Art Gallery in Brixen. I paint there, and welcome visitors, who want to watch me paint, talk about art, have a look at some art books, or try and paint themselves!

Also, during the yearly “Sommer-Emotionen” event in Brixen, I organise a drawing corner, where everyone is welcome to join in! All materials are provided and a lot of fun is guaranteed! The first two sessions were well visited, by residents and tourists, young and old, beginners, as well as professional artists. The next dates are 25th of July and 1st and 8th of August, from 19:00-22:00at Maria Hueber Square. Hope to see you all there!

I recently spoke about my art, my life and my current exhibition, on two local South Tyrolean radio stations, Radio Grüne Welle and RAI Sender Bozen. It was a fun and interesting experience, from which I learnt a lot!
